Abstract
Design of single mode fiber is introduced by maintaining the previous design milestone and valid specifications are taken as input using Optifiber simulator, so performance outputs are nearly accurate. Main tuning parameter is core diameter and whole approach is analytically verified with subtle performance observation. Furthermore, the design model and methodology can be applied to design other modern devices such as dispersion based fibers, multimode and graded index fiber.
