Abstract :
This paper presents the designs and the applications of dual band microwave components. For the designs of microwave components, we introduced a dual band coupler, a dual band crossover and a dual band balun. Analytical equations are derived to design the proposed dual band components. To demonstrate the applications of proposed dual band devices, we present a dual band Butler matrix and a dual band RF sensor. Both of them have shown improved performance (e.g. robustness, and measurement stability).
