Abstract :
A compact size 12-Port Power Combiner/Splitter is designed and fabricated for 2.45 GHz operation. The combiner provides measured isolation between its ports of at least 22.5 dB and an amplitude imbalance of less than 1 dB. The combiner is fabricated on an FR-4 substrate with 0.8 mm thickness. The total size of the board is 78 × 61 × 0.8 mm3. The phase imbalance due to the internal IC phase imbalance was minimized by more than 30% via careful PCB design and phase compensation.
