Abstract :
In this paper, a simple yet efficient interface circuit is proposed for piezoelectric energy harvesters. Based on Parallel Synchronized Switch Harvesting on Inductor (P-SSHI) technique, the proposed self-tuned circuit does neither rely on diodes for switching control nor on external input signals. The circuit can increase the extracted power by more than 3 times compared to traditional AC-DC interface circuits.
