Abstract :
An ~1 Hz signal appears in head accelerometry measures, but is difficult to extract by normal FFT techniques because of the addition of a subject´s sway. The spectrum of the sway overlaps that of the periodicity spectrum. A wavelet transform is used here to remove the sway component to better extract the periodic signal.
