Abstract :
BaTiO3 nanorods with good crystalline were successfully synthesized by a simple ion exchange wet chemical route at low temperature using the microwave-assisted prepared titanic acid as precursor. The as-prepared BaTiO3 nanorods were characterized using field-emission scanning electron microscopy, powder X-ray diffraction. The results shows that the BaTiO3 nanorods have the cubic phase structure, and their rod morphology would be collapsed above 700°C. Then, polymer composites using epoxy as matrix and BaTiO3 nanorods as dielectric filler were prepared through the anhydride curing system. The effects of the ceramic filler shape and contents on the microstructures, dielectric constants of polymer composites were investigated in detail.
