  • Abstract
There has been huge development in the field of Navigation System in the recent years with the launching and proposed launching of numerous Satellite Systems like GPS of USA, GLONASS of Russia, GALILEO of the European Union, BeiDou of China, IRNSS of India etc. and numerous Satellite systems like WAAS, EGNOS and GAGAN have been launched to augment the performance of the existing Satellite Systems. These Satellite Systems transmit signals in various frequency bands like L1, L2, L5 and S1. It has become increasingly difficult for a user to choose which Satellite Signal one should rely on for navigation and survey purpose. In this paper we present a comparative study of the position accuracy obtained with different Satellite Signal tracking and channel combination. This study will be extremely helpful to a user in India as such a study is not available for Indian conditions.
