Abstract :
In this paper, Probability Density Function (PDF) and Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF) expressions for multiuser Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) systems employing Orthogonal Space-Time Block Coding (OSTBC) over α-μ fading channels are derived. The channel fading parameter and user´s SNR are considered as independent and identically distributed (i.i.d). The best user is selected by employing Absolute SNR Scheduling (AS) scheme in this system. These expressions are used to derive analytical expressions for Bit Error Rate (BER) and average capacities per unit bandwidth. The performance analysis for capacity and BER of the system is made for various values of code rate(Rc), increase in the number of receive antennas (nR) and fading parameter (α).
