Abstract :
An inset fed triangular patch antenna for WLAN designed with improved return loss is presented in this paper. The resonant frequency of the antenna is maintained with improved return loss. The design simulation and optimization of the antenna is carried out in advanced design system 2008. The return loss improved from -8 dB to -32dB by varying the width of inset fed of Micro strip antenna, the gain and radiation pattern of the antenna for variation in inset feed width being the same.
