Abstract
A source follower based voltage buffer that fits in with a low supply voltage is presented. This proposal is based on utilizing the Bulk-Driven Flipped Voltage Follower (BDFVF) and the Quasi-Floating Gate (QFG) technique. The proposed voltage buffer has been designed with a 0.18-μm CMOS technology. The simulated results under the single 0.8-volt power supply environment show that the proposed buffer achieves 9-MHz of -3-dB frequency with a 10-pF load, while the bias current consumption is only 4-μA.
