Abstract :
Security aspects of the wireless sensor networks (WSN) are extremely complex since they are implemented in very heterogeneous real scenarios. None of the security mechanisms can independently provide full protection for the WSN and guarantee proper security level for the user. Different security mechanisms should operate cooperatively and integrated into unique security framework. This paper proposes integrated security framework designed especially for IPv6-based WSN. The structure of the proposed framework is given and functions of its modules are explained. Also, some suggestions about its implementation are given through the example of possible use of the IPv6-based WSN in precision agriculture.
