Abstract :
A concept of using forward scatter phenomena for targets crossing the baseline which links the transmitter and receiver in bistatic passive radar (PBR) is presented. In typical passive radar the forward scattering phenomena is not exploited, as target is visible in reference beam and is attenuated by clutter cancellation algorithms. The paper present the methods to overcome this problem end to exploit high RCS of the target in forward scattering region.
