Abstract
In this paper, we use an ambiguity number obtaining method of Doppler for ground moving targets from a single synthetic aperture radar (SAR) sensor. Range compressed envelope of SAR moving target after correcting range cell migration in the range-Doppler domain indicates a straight line with its slope proportional to its Doppler ambiguity number. So based on linear residual migration correction Doppler ambiguity can be modified. Theoretical analysis of simulated SAR data illustrate the effectiveness of this method.
