Abstract
An autonomous fire suppression system was developed for local fire suppression. The system contains a multispectral sensor suite, including UV sensors and IR stereovision, to detect and target the fire for suppression. Using a deterministic trajectory algorithm, the nozzle angle is adjusted to apply the suppressant onto the base of the fire. The suppression system was used to suppress a wood crib fire.
