Abstract :
In this paper, a PID fuzzy sliding mode control (PIDFSMC) is proposed to control the twin rotor multi-input multi-output system (TRMS). The TRMS is decoupled and pseudo-composed into main rotor system and tail system. Sliding mode controller is designed at first. Then PID control and fuzzy logic are developed. Finally, the combined PIDFSMC applied to the main rotor and the tail rotor has neither the tracking errors nor the control input chattering.
