Abstract :
We experimentally analyze the required guard band of coherent optical UDWDM networks transporting 16×1.25 Gb/s - QPSK at 3.125 GHz frequency grid to coexist with Video and 10G - NRZ transmissions. Using simple DSP based ONU, guard bands of only 0.8-1.6 nm are achieved.
