  • Abstract
    We demonstrate an all-optical low-power 2R regenerator of 10Gb/s NRZ data based on a 10-μm diameter microdisk laser, heterogeneously integrated onto silicon-on-insulator and processed in a CMOS pilot-line. The scheme works for sub-milliWatt input signals.
