Abstract :
Tagging is the one of Web 2.0 applications that can generate the web resources from the internet users. Tagging, provides meaningful descriptions of resources for more efficient searching and recommendation. However, Tagging still exists some issues unsolved. The frequency of the tags can be a distribution, modeled accurately. Only few tags can be searched with high frequency, but the tags are too generic to identify one from the other. On the other hand, the determinations of low-frequency tags are unstable for most queries, due to infrequent presence. In order to help users annotate the resources with tagging, this paper proposes a voting-promotion technology to further develop a novel tag recommendation system.
