Abstract :
The paper describes the main approaches to large components dismantling and focuses on the calculation of exposure during one of these processes - cutting to smaller segments. The used computer code, created model of steam generator, input data and different scenarios are presented. Different situations (depending on one selected variable parameter - distance) are analyzed from the point of view of the dose rate, total dose and acceptance of appropriate regulatory limits. At the end of the paper, the main consequences of the model calculations are presented.
