Abstract :
We demonstrate a 2×4 wavelength selective cross-connect based on Liquid Crystal on Silicon technology. In this device, optical beams from both COM ports can be simultaneously switched on a 50GHz grid to any one of the four Drop ports. We achieve a neighboring port isolation > 25dB for 90 separate 50GHz channels at ~8dB loss for polarized light.
