Abstract :
We present the design, fabrication and measurement results of a narrow linewidth single-mode laser based on three coupled cavities with two deeply etched trenches. Very narrow linewidth of about 78 kHz is obtained. Good performances in lasing threshold and side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR) are also demonstrated.
