Abstract :
We have synthesized Vanadium doped Covellite nanocrystals, by a simple and environmentally begin technique involving the reaction of copper sulphate monohydrate, thiourea and doping agent V2O5. The products were characterized by XRD, SEM, and UV-Visible techniques. The morphology studies for covellite (CuS) nanoparticle obtained is seed like structure with size of 73-90nm. We confirm the monoclinic structure of Vanadium doped covellite nanoparticle through XRD data.
