A new opportunity for the development of sports engineering in China — Based on deep thought of the “Education and training plan of excellent engineers”

Based on analysis of the background and connotation and essence of sports engineering and “Education and Training Plan of Excellent Engineers”, relevance between both in four dimension of teaching, discipline, scientific research, industry is decomposed and discussed. Then the paper points out that the implementation of the Plan provides a new opportunity for the development of sports engineering in China. And at the stage of germination period of our country´s sports engineering, further promotion of its development is also a request of the Plan to give full consideration to the diversity of industry and demand of engineering talents, and to carry cultivate of talents in advance.
