Abstract :
To answer the question that where the potential of national economic development come from, Hausmann and his team raised the theory of Product Space. In this paper, we mine the hidden network of product space by a genetic algorithm. Then we proposed an index to reveal the potential of economic development based on the difference of Economic Complexity Indexes (ECI) of product space and hidden network, and analysis the effect of the index.
