Abstract :
Most of the modern industrial automation systems are based on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Continuous development of wireless technologies makes them more and more popular in automation applications. However, there are still fields were none of the available solutions can be applied. An example of such an application is integration of real-time wireless sensor networks with automation systems. In this article a possible solution for this problem is discussed.
