Abstract :
Polyurethanes modified by multi-walled carbon nanotube (PU/MWCNT) composites were prepared, polyurethanes as pre-polymer and MWCNT as a modifier. MWCNT was treated with a different method of situ polymerization, moreover; the structure and mechanical properties of the treated MWCT and PU/MWCNT nano-composites were investigated by microstructure analysis and performance testing, including solubility in alcohol, microtopography, XRD, FT-IR and shear strength. The results showed that effect on MWCNT modified by TDI was preferable. And TDI-MWCT/PU suggested the largest shear strength.
