Abstract :
This paper reports on our 13.5-inch top-emission flexible AMOLED in which CAAC-IGZO FETs are used as driver elements. We have realized a top-emission flexible AMOLED by using a technique of forming FET elements featuring low off-state current and high reliability and a passivation film with high barrier property over a glass substrate, separating the FET portion from the glass substrate by physical force, and transferring the FET portion to a plastic substrate.
