Abstract :
This paper proposes a high performance hybridtype magnetic planetary gear. The operational principle of the star, planetary, and solar types is described and the transmission torque characteristics are simulated by using 3-D finite element method. Finally, the simulated torque characteristics are verified by carrying out measurements on a prototype.
