Abstract :
The importance that mobile communications have reached today in everyone´s life experiences makes it essential a prompt reaction to any kind of potential emergency by fast-reconfiguring the network resources in order to avoid break of service for the end users. In such a scenario it could become extremely important that the network be aware of the environmental context where its nodes have to operate, and that it can reconfigure itself without human intervention. In this paper, we propose a context-aware cellular framework monitored by M2M (Machine to Machine), based on SDN (Software Defined Networking) controlled environment, which uses sensor signals to reconfigure the LTE (Long Term Evolution) network.
