Abstract :
Communication networks are spreading everywhere. There are many issues related to these networks. One of them is server selection algorithm. By selecting an appropriate server: (i) we can guarantee a high perceived quality to the user and (ii) reduce the server response time. This issue is more important in the mobile thin client networks. In these networks, all requests are responded by the server. If the selected server is not appropriate, network efficiency will dramatically be reduced. For preventing from this effect, we present a server selection algorithm that tries to select the best server among the available servers by context aware. This algorithm uses the client and environment context to select the appropriate server.
