Abstract
Ascertaining the age of a person is very difficult and often provided ages are inaccurate. This paper presents a novel method for estimating the age of a mobile phone user based on the ages of whom they call and their frequency of interactions. The results show good correlation over time and with the existing provided ages. The work also provides insight into the size and nature of the network of friends people have and how it changes with age.
