Abstract
In this paper, we demonstrate a high speed visible light communication system based on a commercially available high-power phosphor-based white light LED. A high 3-dB modulation bandwidth up to 85 MHz is obtained by designing a passive post-equalizer circuit for the blue LED component and a transmission rate of 250 Mbps using On-Off Keying is also demonstrated using received eye diagrams.
