Abstract :
The clipping-noise guided sign-selection (CGS) algorithm is effective to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of OFDM signal. However the convergence rate of CGS algorithm is slow and the performance of CGS algorithm is influenced by the initial clipping threshold. An adaptive CGS (ACGS) algorithm is proposed in this paper to accelerate the convergence rate of CGS algorithm. Meanwhile ACGS algorithm adjusts the clipping threshold adaptively in each iteration. Simulation results show that ACGS algorithm can achieve lower PAPR than CGS algorithm at the same iteration and ACGS algorithm is more robust to the initial clipping threshold than CGS algorithm.
