Abstract :
For circular scanning synthetic aperture radar(CSSAR) this new imaging modality, the curve moving trajectory makes the two-dimensional spectrum difficult to approach. This paper proposed a new imaging algorithm for the CSSAR based on derivation of the spectrum by the Cardano´s formula. In the whole processing, only one quartic range approximation is adopted to ensure that the algorithm is precise enough to focus the image. At last, simulation results confirm the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed algorithm.
