Abstract :
This paper presents a novel and practical method, which utilizes direct signal from the transmitter to the receiver antenna to achieve geometry correction of bistatic SAR image in spaceborne/stationary configuration. The proposed method only requires the height of the stationary receiver and the incident angle of the transmitter, whereas the conventional one depends on the position system like GPS to obtain the position information of both the transmitter and the receiver. Finally, the real bistatic SAR image is used to validate the feasibility of this method.
