Abstract :
As a new line of research, Bistatic SAR system could introduce more information of scatters, facilitating a variety of applications, such as targets´ classification. In this paper, bistatic interferometry, which utilizes a satellite as transmitter of opportunity and two stationary receivers on the ground, is addressed both theoretically and experimentally. Firstly, the full basic bistatic interferometric process chain for digital elevation model is presented. Secondly, the bistatic interferometric system and the data acquisition of bistatic geometry are described briefly. Furthermore, the theoretical developments are complemented with the process of real data which is acquired in the experiment. Finally, the comparison between experimental results and local measurements is discussed, which demonstrated feasibility of the methodology.
