Abstract :
This paper presents a step frequency Ground-Based SAR system at Ku-Band, which is composed of portable spliced rail subsystem, RF and antenna subsystem, control software and real time data processing subsystem. The radar transmits step frequency signal from 17.0 to 17.5 GHz. The paper first covers the configuration of the radar system. The dc-bias and amplitude-phase unbalance of the receiver are analysed and calibrated in the following. At last, the out-field experiments indicate the performance of the Ku-Band radar system.
