Abstract :
Clutter characteristics of Integrated Sensor Is Structure (ISIS) are researched in this paper. Conclusions are deduced from numerical simulation of the radiation pattern and clutter distribution. Taylor weighting depresses the amplitude of clutter from side-lobe, and also depresses the amplitude of the target echo from main-lobe. Large aperture provides high antenna gain, but results in very narrow radar beam which is adverse to large-scale scan. Clutter distribution is related to locomotion character of platform and operational parameters of radar. It is necessary to choose appropriate operational parameters to detect target in clutter.
