Abstract
Using super resolution direction of arrival (DOA) estimation algorithm is an effective method for passive radar seeker (PRS) to antagonize non-coherent radar decoy. A novel DOA estimation algorithm is proposed to estimate the two-dimensional (2-D) arrival angles of multisource by using a uniformly circular array (UCA) of crossed dipoles. By exploiting the polarization diversity of the signals, PRS improves the resolution in condition of closely spaced noncoherent sources for both chirp signals and phase modulated (PM) signals, and offers superior performance as the polarization changes. Simulation results verify the capability and correctness of the new method.
