Abstract :
As a high range resolution signal, the modulated stepped frequency radar signal is widely applied in various new radar systems. Modulated stepped frequency radar signal generating system with synthetic 1.5GHz bandwidth is designed and implemented based on DDS of FPGA parallel theory and high-speed DAC frameworks. The method which can directly accomplish frequency hopping at the digital part to generate modulated stepped frequency radar signal is advanced and the practical performance of the source is analysed.
