Abstract :
In this paper, a kind of omnidirectional microstrip coaxial collinear (COCO) antenna array is designed, fabricated, and tested. The antenna is fabricated by standard printed circuit board technology (PCB), with overall dimension of 300×30×0.8mm3. The measured bandwidth of the antenna is about 4% with VSWR less than 1.4. The antenna has stably omnidirectional H-plane radiation patterns in the whole effective bandwidth, while the measured maximum gain reaches 4.85dBi at the highest frequency. Good agreement between the simulations and measurements is observed.
