Abstract :
For along-track multi-channel squint-looking synthetic aperture radar (SAR), this paper provides a signal model of ground moving target in 2-D frequency domain and complex image domain. Considered the hyperbolic range equation, an analytical frequency spectrum in 2-D frequency domain can be derived via the stationary phase principle (SPP). Interestingly, based on the model given in this paper, the 2-D echoes of a moving target of multi-channel squint-looking SAR cans be considered to be that of a static target in a single-channel squint-looking SAR, whose platform system parameters is different from the original ones. The properties like squint angle, amplitude and phase modulations, target split, etc. will be different from the existed side-looking model, and will be analysed again in this paper. Finally, some numerical experiments are provided to verify the proposed model.
