Abstract :
Compared with the traditional navigation modulation, binary offset carrier (BOC) has advantages in resistance to interference, multipath fading and positioning accuracy. But its multi-peak autocorrelation function will lead possible biased tracking. Bump-Jump (BJ) technique can effectively solve the problem. This paper derives the false alarm probability, detection probability and the average detection time of BJ technique focusing on BOC(1,1), at the same time, give the method to choose threshold, and proposes the modified BJ technique. Analysis shows the threshold and average detection time changing rules with the variation of Carrier-to-Noise Ratio (CNR) and coherent accumulated time. Modified Bump-Jump technique filters the detection samples and constraints the implemented time which more fits for the project implement.
