Abstract :
Costas phase lock loop (Costas-PLL) based on four-way signal processing is new design of carrier tracking loop of GNSS receiver proposed in recent years. It has been proved that this new design can significantly improve the dynamic performance of GNSS receiver by improving the phase pull-in range. More study is focused on this new design. Performance analysis will be given which proves that the new design can bring more than improving the dynamic performance. Simulation results will also support the conclusions.
