Abstract :
By automating some procedures of the fixture design we can spare lot of time spent on executing some routine tasks. One of such routine tasks is the generation of the adapter elements for modular fixtures. In this paper the way of the automation of this routine task is presented in a system where the selection of the fixturing features, the selection of the fixture elements and the determination of their layout is also automated.
