Abstract :
In this work the influence of phase current harmonic content of three phase permanent magnet synchronous motor to the torque characteristics of skewed and unskewed rotor type is examined. On the base of finite element model of a simple motor model are determined the torque characteristics for different phase current shapes. The determined torque values for different rotor positions with various stator current values make possible to investigate the harmonic content of torque characteristics of of motors with skewed and unskewed rotor.
