Abstract :
A novel direction of departure (DOD) - direction of arrival (DOA) estimation method for bistatic MIMO radar is proposed. Based on the ESPRIT method, this method exploits the signal cyclostationarity to estimate the signal subspace, which uses the singular value decomposition (SVD) instead of using the eigenvalue decomposition (EVD). The proposed method improves the DOD and DOA estimation performance in the presence of interference signal, and also achieves automatic pairing for DOD and DOA. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
