Abstract :
Unlike optical images which describe a good appearance of an object, SAR images are described by a set of scattering centers. Therefore, scattering center is an important feature for UWB SAR image target recognition. In this paper, A novel scattering center feature extraction method in UWB SAR is proposed in this paper. The function of scattering center respected to frequency and aspect is computed using the Space-Wavenumber Distribution (SWD) processing, then the target attribute scattering centers model parameters are estimated via this function. The results of the computer simulation experiment show the validity of the method.
