Abstract :
A novel tamed spread spectrum communication system with long PN (Pseudo Random) code is proposed and its receiver FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) implementation method is also designed. Meanwhile, the performance of the receiver is verified by simulation. In the system, two M sequences with the length of 2048 are used. One is used to transmit data, and the other is used in training sequence. The data rate is more than 50KHz, the chip rate is 10MHz, and the spread spectrum gain is 2048. The system solves the low frequency efficiency problem of spread spectrum communication system. The verification result shows that, when the signal-to-noise ratio is -3dB, the bit error rate is less than 10-9, and the design could be used in the satellite communication channel.
