Abstract :
Wireless sensor network (WSN) plays an important role in the large scale farmland environmental monitoring. Long-term unattended monitoring with limited energy source requires extremely low power consumption. Researches mainly focused on the state transition of the wireless sensor network (WSN) nodes. More energy can be saved when each module is scheduled into the appropriate states according to the node´s relative energy weights in the network. Simulation results show that the node power consumption has been significantly reduced.
